So you want to make your special day even more special – and you believe that riding a limo on that day will be just the thing that will add that “special-ness.” But you have a limited budget, though – what to do?

You browse through the yellow pages, the websites and all the limo resources you can get your hands on, until finally, you find limo companies that offer unbelievably low prices. You are ecstatic that you have found a bargain. Now you can have a grand, memorable experience at a very cheap price. So you sign on with that limo service, and wait in anticipation for your special day.

Your special day arrives. But to your dismay, when your limo arrives, it is not as elegant as you thought it would be. Worse, you find just the teeniest scratch on its surface. Consoling yourself that it is only a scratch anyway, you get on and give your instructions to the chauffeur – instructions you already gave the company, but it turns out he does not know them, let alone where to get there. So you waste some minutes of your time describing the route to him.

He starts the engine, and you hear that sound that can only come from old, secondhand vehicles. You thought it would go away after a few seconds, but it goes on.

You slump on the seat – which, by the way, is not as soft and comfortable as you imagined. You look for a drink in the bar but it is not as ice-cold as you wanted. There are actually very few drinks available. You listen to some music, and the sound quality is not so good – hardly what you would expect in a limousine. And the sound of the engine is distracting, anyway.

As you are trying to brush off these “minor” details, you hear the engine screech to a stop. The chauffeur informs you the engine has trouble and will take some time to repair. Forget about your grand entrance to that party – you’ll only make a very late entrance!

Sounds too bad to be true? The scene above is only a combination of the events that can happen should you opt for a suspiciously cheap limousine service. While these limousine companies may give very low prices, expect a trade-off.

The worst-case scenario is not even described here – some doubtful limo companies do not have an insurance policy that will cover you in case of accident. Or worse, they don’t have any insurance policy at all!

So be wary of cheap prices. When it comes to renting a limo, quality is still priority. Look for value for money, not for cheap. Value for money is when you may pay a considerable amount but you get your money’s worth in your limo experience.

In choosing a limo company, go with the one which you think will provide you with the best limo experience. Be prepared to spend some money – after all, you want the best.
