1) Compare limousine rental rates. Different limousine companies have different packages and different ways in charging customers. Some companies charge by the hour while some charge by kilometer. To decide which kind of charge you will choose, consider the places you are going and estimate which option is more cost-efficient.
Other factors affecting rate are the make and model of the limousine and the amenities. Do you want a festive mood for your evening travel? You may want fiber optic lighting in your limo if that is the case.
Take care to fully understand the offer in each package the limousine company has. Take note of freebies like food and champagne and special rebates.
In choosing your package, always refer back to the experience you want to have. Do not be overwhelmed, especially with packages that offer so many amenities.
2) Research about the fine print. This is very, very important, especially if you don’t want any bad surprises later. Be aware if there are trade-offs or if you have anything liable for during your use of the limo. Always ask ahead of time if you are responsible or liable for anything.
3) Ask about the company’s contingency plan. In case of emergency or unwelcome circumstances, would the company still be able to deliver a limousine service to you? Get their word that you will be provided a limousine on the appointed day no matter what. You certainly would not want to be stressed out on the big day looking for a new limousine rental in case something goes wrong in the company you signed up with.
4) Ask about the company’s cancellation policy. Though you are thinking this may not likely happen, you may suddenly find yourself not needing a limo for the day of the event anymore. Should this happen, you would want to know in advance if you can still get a partial or full refund of the rental fee. If you are not 100% sure that you will need a limo on the appointed day, go with a company that gives a full refund or an amount close to the full refund. Don’t go with a company where you believe you will lose a large percentage of your money.
